My blogposts went viral as many could personally relate to my demoralizing story. A producer called asking me if I was interested in turning my tale of woe into a short film. I wrote the script, they hired a director, we cast someone to play me and a dozen or so of my most terrible dates. We shot the film Woody Allen-style in my apartment and all around Brooklyn during the fall, when New York is at its most magical. Below is the post that describes how it all came to me.
